We are communicating with an Australian Aviation manufacturer and other interested persons looking to manufacture and purchase a cheaper alternative option, similar capacity to these engines.
This capacity 'CCE' engine will be based on an improved design of our X4-D1 Diesel engine, being a mid size, slow revving, four cylinder V4 or Boxer engine, engine capacity is easily change by using a larger diameter piston & thermals.
Our Turkish partner is also CAD modeling a 1700cc, 4 cylinder Turbo charged Diesel engine, that will produce 90~100 BHP, the initial prototype weight will be around 100Kg, that is not quite the power to weight ratio required when comparing it to a leading Rotax 912 ULS engine with 100 BHP @5800 RPM, with a gross weight of 64 Kg.
We strongly believe we can design and manufacture a competitive replacement 'uncertified experimental Aircraft engine', that can also be used as a Generator engine. Either capacity Revetec engine in X4, V4 or Boxer configuration would have ample power to be used in both applications with different trilobe grind to suit the required rev range.
We are looking for joint venture partners to model, build and test a pre-production engine!
The basic engine design configurations are;
- Four cylinder, V4, X4 or Boxer configuration.
- Gross dressed dry engine weight expected to be between 60~80kg.
- 4 stroke Ethanol, Petrol, LPG, CNG or Diesel design with 15:1 or lower compression.
- 1500~2000cc capacity with max 3'000 rpm +/-500, up-gradable if required.
- Aviation design requires the lightest weight, Titanium parts are being considered & priced.
- 137cm (54") single or Contra-Rotating propeller out-put shafts are built atop the engine to produce great ground clearance.
- Our unique engine is very easy to be build with Contra-Rotating Propellers!
