To determine the deck height required for a 2382cc (Revetec X4) engine with a compression ratio of 10.5:1, and cylinder heads with a combustion chamber volume of 60cc, plug in the following numbers: bore=108mm, stroke=65mm and desired compression ratio=10.5. Click the 'deck height' button and you'll be given the answer: 0.29mm (or 0.011").
* Neg. Deck Height nubmer is above deck, Pos. number below deck. A piston with a positive number is either a flat-top with valve reliefs or a dish. A piston with a negative number is a domed piston.
